Gaga, Raven and Detox (drag queens)

So i was wondering, over the years Raven a well know drag queen has dissed Gaga a few times. When she went to Mickeys in LA to shoot the Applause lyric video there was a video where Raven was being rude to Gaga and even told her to take both their glasses back to bar. In 2018, she did one of the things she does best (ranting on Facebook live) and had said that she kicked Gaga and her team out of the dressing room and was annoyed that there wasn't a contract for recording the videos. Detox has shaded/insulted Gaga multiple times (she's a Madonna fan lol) and was another one who was annoyed there wasn't a contract for the recording of the lyric video.

What do you all think? Personally speaking just because you're a Gay man doesn't mean you can speak to/about women however you please and you should remain 100% professional around all settings. Then again, coming from Raven this doesn't surprise me as she attacked a 13 year old girl not long back.

Edit: I don't want the "gay man" comment to rub people the wrong way, its just that it doesn't give you a free pass to speak to a woman in a disrespectful way. If it was a straight man acting like this, we would roast him.

It's a bit of a logical fallacy to think that all gay men and drag queens have to like Gaga. Granted, they could have been more professional about it, but people are entitled to like and dislike who they want regardless of their identity. And it is valid to point out that Gaga should have hired them under contract, drag queens need to be paid for their services because at the end of the day it's still a business and you need to be paid for your time. 

At the same time though, you have to realise, they're drag queens. Raven and Detox are early Drag Race alumni, meaning they aren't really going to hold back as much compared to the more PC Queens we have today. They will be rude, catty and speak their minds regardless of public opinion. I'm not saying that it's right, but they're going to be authentic to themselves over being nice.

I remember when this came to light back in 2014(?) and most people sided with Raven because Gaga inviting herself and all of her team backstage whilst the girls were getting ready was rude  I dont think it has anything to do with them being entitled gay men, that seems like a throwaway comment.

I mean they should have been properly compensated for the video, and she went backstage while they were getting ready which was weird.
 

It would be the same if the KitKat ad team went into the dressing room of an NBA team while they were getting ready, and then filmed them for a commercial without paying them.

Of course not everybody is gonna have the same taste, some people love Gaga some people hate her (doubt she cares tbh) from Detox, its just looking a desperate at this point as to how she still dissing her this day.

I think Willam had said Gaga was really sweet and was taking pictures with all the other queens, maybe if it was announced it would have been better and more organised.

Just because you’re a woman with a lot of gay fans doesn’t mean you and your team can just go in a dressing room where a bunch of queer and non-binary people are getting ready. I thought your OP would say that but instead it was “just because you’re a gay man doesn’t mean...“ instead of following it with “unworthy of privacy/decency or unworthy of a contract or compensation.”

Thats true, i think a big stereotype in the gay world that we have to like certain artists (Gaga, Beyonce, Rihanna and Britney etc.)
