Are you guys here for an album with R&B and maybe some urban influences? Think an album with songs like Do What U Want, Paper Gangsta, Second Time Around etc.

DWUW is one of her best songs so yeah in that lane.

However, whatever she does, it needs to be a fresh and inventive sound. Not dated or stale. She can't keep missing.

I agree! Although I understand why it’s not on the album anymore I ‘miss’ this song

Prefer LG7 to be metal, punk, psychedelic and hard rock but wouldn’t mind a few tracks with R&B elements: eg Stupid Love at the VMAs was basically performed as a rock song with gospel influences :messga:

LG8 can be full on 60s Motown, 70s soul and 80s funk though :tony:

ABSOLUTELY yes. This is honestly all I want from her at this point.

...Will it actually happen? I'm not sure. But like you said, it's time to switch up and do something new. I certainly don't want a "2.0" of any album.

I've said this many times on here. This could honestly be an incredible opportunity for some unique collaborations (with artists AND producers). And quite frankly, she doesn't have to pander to anyone: she can still be completely her and make "GAGA" records but just take it to another genre. I really think she could make some great R&B-infused pop or pop-infused R&B. Artists like Kylie Minogue and Ariana Grande have done this as well, and I think Gaga is capable of being a lot more versatile than they are (even though I love both). Also, I'd love for her to do some soul/jazz fusion with R&B like Sade. That would be a dream, literally a dream. :flutter:

Massive Monster

It would honestly be my worst nightmare if she did R&B/ hip hop like Ariana Grande

I said what I said

I find it completely uninspired, shallow, generic lately (and even a little problematic for a white singer to go there)

Gaga is synonymous with dark pop, dance, electro, techno, rock etc

Kind regards

Not at all. Music is colorless.
I respect your opinion but I want these type of subjects done with. Everyone is free to listen AND make whatever music they want.
