He sort of brushed it off, perhaps because he was on an awards campaign for that season or didn't want to admit Penelope wasn't his first choice (even though it's really common for multiple people to be in contention for a role), but also discussed how he loved Gaga and was working on stuff with her.... It'd be interesting—especially with a mermaid theme—but between COVID-19 & Gucci I doubt it will happen. I mean, even with all the precautions, Rob Pattinson still got COVID-19 on the set of Batman.
