LaFama 4,423
This year marked the 10th anniversary of this electropop masterpiece and I thought it deserved some love. Released on May 14, 2010, Flesh Tone was her comeback album after 2006's Kelis Was Here, making a shift from her previous R&B sound to an electronic one. Lyrically, this album is pretty much her ode to motherhood, with most of the lyrics dedicated to her first child. David Guetta and Benny Benassi were some of the names that were involved in the production of the project. And as a little fun fact, BURNS and Boys Noize were also involved in some tracks. It had 4 singles: Acapella, 4th of July (Fireworks), Scream, Brave, relesead during 2010-11: Spoiler It also had very strong visual work, not only in the music videos, but in the promo shoots: Spoiler Personally, I had this album on repeat for mooonths after it came out, and I have some very good memories with it and I defenitly think that it holds up pretty great. I still listen to it from time to time. I dont think it sounds dated like some music coming out during that period. And also, its a very cohesive body of work. Have you listened to this record? What do you think it? Do you like it? Do you love it? Show it some love! Spoiler I hope everthing in here made sense, english is not my first lenguage, so I can get a litlle mixed up sometimes Its not a fedora u f*ck

ShayCristoforo 10,560
She's such a great artist! Also, if you haven't checked out Cooked With Cannabis on Netflix, she's the host. It's a fun cooking competition show with some awesome chefs and creative dishes (the title says it all... lol). I absolutely adored her as the host. Get the pinot ready, because it's turtle time.
