veganism works for some and doesn’t work for others. i don’t think people should be pressured for what they consume into their own bodies. and even if she did it because she was “missing seafood”, that shouldn’t be anyone else’s business but her own.

so many people want to preach “equal rights” and that everyone should be able to be and do what they want, but not being vegan doesn’t come under that apparently...

Idk what triggered such a defensive statement but please keep your resentment towards vegans elsewhere than in my mentions. She is spreading misinformation on radio and I have every right to contradict with it.

I’m not sure I’ve ever met someone who’s vegan, since they tend to be really private and not broadcast their lifestyle. I feel like a vegan will only open up to you about their vegan personality - I mean lifestyle - once you really get to know them. Otherwise, it’s almost impossible to know for sure.

Anyway. I love seafood and dairy. :vegas:

It's easy to figure out when you invite them to a get together and they're eating oreos the whole time

Sorry, I don't buy this. Just say that you missed eating seafood. Nobody's going to stone you to death.

Homegirl has access to nutritionists, personal chefs, etc..if she can't make veganism work when regular people can. :triggered:

It's weird because I've been 'vegan' for about four years now and I've never taken supplements or anything. I eat a 'normal' diet... I think? I've never thought about it, though, and now I'm worried :bradley:

I never went 'vegan' because it was popular. I did it, without really knowing, because I really don't like the taste of meat or dairy. Then, overtime, I realised I had actually been eating an entirely 'vegan' diet for a long time and, as far as I am aware, have never been impacted by it.

My diet is extremely repetitive (because of allergies) and I mainly eat oatmeal, vegetables, fruit, rice and pasta, along with gluten free cereals, biscuits and snacks, like crisps and popcorn. I don't eat a lot of sugar (by chance) and I don't eat candy.

I sometimes ache... and I do get very bad migraines... but I think that's all stress-related, not food.

I'm shocked to hear when people say that their lives have got worse because of not eating meat, ect. It made no difference to me, good or bad. Anyone have a similar experience?

tbh I thought veganism was for people who can't eat meat because they get sick eating meat or something like that

Nah for a lot of people it's done for moral reasons, basically a form of animal activism.

On this topic... I'm vegetarian for 10 years, and I usually take vegetarian omega 3 capsules, but recently stopped because a lot of people are saying that taking omega 3 supplements actually doesn't help (also the vegetarian ones are so expensive vs fish oil )   can anyone help me with this? Because I always hated seafood so I definitely don't wanna introduce it back into my diet :huntyga:

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

There actually really are people that are 'fruitarians' because they don't want to kill plants :rip:

From Wikipedia: "Some fruitarians will eat only what falls (or would fall) naturally from a plant: that is, plant foods that can be harvested without killing or harming the plant"
