The fight to put art on the table. The way she kept going despite the storm... ARTPOP was a beautiful era like no other in pop culture. This reminded me of being a sophomore in high school and being so excited bc my parents were going out of town and they were against me liking Gaga at the time, I had just came out as gay & they were really homophobic, them being gone meant I could watch the livestream in our multimedia room, I was so happy. I’ll always love my ARTPOP memories, going to the ArtRave as my first official Gaga tour as well. It’s when I made my account here

It’s when I made my account here the is no 'emotion' emoji <3 My ARTPOP memories are very important too because I was very lonely at this time. I didn't realised my friends were toxic, so my only reliable one was LG too... Actually. hello hello baby.

You described everything that I wanted to say but I couldn't put into words. ARTPOP holds a special place in my heart as a Gaga fan because she did her all to make it special and passionate. It was really a rollercoaster, was the moment I was most connected to her. I don't know about other fans, or stan culture...but it will never be forgotten by me. the scars on my mind are on replay. LittleMonster20 9,826
People so desperately want her to have a flop album LMAO It wasn’t The Fame Monster but 3 million + copies sold, huge lead single and performances and interviews everyday and on top of that a succeful tour... doesn’t qualify as flop to me

Felix Jens 180
I’m not defending ARTPOP because there’s not need to. Personally with ARTPOP, Goddess Of Love (aka LG) convinced me , that she is more than an average super pop star . It isn't the album of anything, let alone the album of the millenium. It's not important by any standard, other than being the only major flop of Gaga's career. Fans need to get over it and move on, instead of blaming the whole world for it. This album comes up whenever any of my friends (not stans) talk about Gaga. I agree with the OP tbh. Joanne could NEVER.

Chromatica is Gaga’s best album and one of the best albums this century though, joined by Confessions on a dancefloor and Future Nostalgia I love Chromatica, but it's basic if you compare it to Born This Away, even ARTPOP. Lyrics are great, really great. The instrumentals? not so much. That's just my opinion, and I hate to say it. It's not dark and experimental like old Gaga stuff. Even John Wayne was "experimental" and it was on JOANNE . Having an entire world like Chromatica, the videos could've had an amazing storyline, something like a short film. Something she even did in ARTPOP era. I don't know. I feel like ROM could have been a mv by Ariana Grande, I mean, it looks like No tears left to cry. What was special about Gaga is that no one could imitate the style, aesthetic, story and uniqueness of her music videos. I still couldn't see that with Chromatica. I hope she proves me wrong. not to be dramatic but -
