i wouldn’t say people speak good of the album on other platforms, there are only around 40 people in total that I’ve ever seen calling ARTPOP one of the best albums of all time:selena:

Oh yeah of all time, absolutely not lol

I don’t care what anybody’s says, ARTPOP was such an exciting time for over two years, a year leading up to the album, the leaks, the previews, the release, artRAVE and then tour... it lasted for such a long time after Born This Way Ball was cut short(er than it should’ve been)

And I’m always sitting on ready.

This isn’t the first time and for sure won’t be the last I let them know about ARTSKIP.

I mean, I’d say the constant ARTPOP discussion is understandable. Everything about the era and the making of the album is very intriguing and interesting given how much happened, all the things that went wrong, all the things that could have been, a lot of unreleased songs we know about but haven’t heard, Act II, there’s just a lot to unpack. So I wouldn’t say the album is thoroughly discussed because everyone thinks it’s good (although I do personally love it)

The fact that this thread already has 3 pages of people arguing back and forth about it's relevancy nearly seven years after it's release is enough proof to me that it's iconique :vegas:

I'll always have fond memories of the ARTPOP era - what it meant for Gaga in terms of taking the steering wheel after Troy jumped ship, the wild success and new career peaks that came after... ARTPOP was the fork in the road that most pop stars come to and careen off the map, but Gaga stayed the course and now she's a fully fledged icon :ally:
