Honestly, neither has a shot at getting enough airplay to make moves on the Hot 100; Free Woman already had premium playlisting support near album release and still failed to gain traction, so the next “single” should be a song that can grab enough attention digitally to boost its streams in the short-term, while also having a trickling impact on album streams and finally, retaining some of that boost indefinitely (see: John Wayne having the highest non-single recurrent streams off Joanne still). That seems to be 911, which will at least give the era a unique, thematically appropriate track supported by visuals and promo. An MV with Chromatica II > 911 and live performances will get enough buzz to boost it to ~500k/day IMO.

I really wish Replay was considered since it’s a more sophisticated take on the issues 911 addresses; the lyrics are deeper, fuller, and the chorus hits harder. It’d be great if she could release Replay as a promo single shortly after and do performances of both as Mental Health Awareness Month / World Mental Health Day (October) approach.

911 please, Free Woman demo version would've been a great lead or single, but the album version is far too generic for me to want as a single. 911 is fresh and a 911 visual would undoubtedly be more inspired.

If the GP thought that SL and ROM were generic, they won't even bother listening to FW. 911 is riskier but ultimately better as a single and as a song

So months ago I would have said "Free Woman," thought it would be a great Gaga single and perfect for radio and the current times. Always loved 911 more, but did not feel it would be perceived well by the GP for a single. After the VMAS, I am ready for 911 as a single and I actually think it could do quite good and be a little bit of an experimental single for Gaga.

I love both. But I would go for 911 but if they did not tweaked FW that much, I'd go for FW. I really love the FW sample.

I see the bias. You capitalized Free Woman but not 911 :ally:

Anyway, I'm team Free Woman :enigma: I literally can't get that song out of my head. It's my ringtone, the demo is my alarm, and it's in my morning Spotify playlist :ladyhaha:

You're stinky
