The acclaimed ROM MV also won an industry award for Best Cinematography and snagged 3 fan voted awards (Best Collab, Best Song, Artist of the Year) and finally the first ever MTV Tricon award, honoring her prowess across industries. However, the Weeknd's Blinding Lights video won for VOTY; how? If Gaga won both Song of the Year and Artist of the Year, how could she have lost the biggest prize? She would've suffered from overexposure and the locals would hate it. And this is the first time The Weeknd won VOTY. I don't have any reason to not like The Weeknd. He's the only male pop/RnB artist who dominated this year. Blinding Lights was also very aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. Physical deserved a nomination tho.
