That's what I'm saying. She is super sweet and good person and I can't believe she gets all yhe negative and offensive comments. She just don't deserve them one bit.

Sorry not sorry but this wasn't a 'live' performance. Yes, a vocal track was recorded from a live performance, but the performance itself was prerecorded and edited, probably recorded three or four times to get the right shots, but it wasn't ''live''. Gaga might have been singing live during each take, but we didn't hear a single take, straight through of the song as we usually do, and that's fine because of restrictions.

Let's not deluded ourselves, during the bridge of Rain on Me, the mic was everywhere but her mouth.

Well it wasn’t “live live” as she changed outfits within 5 secs   Obviously some vocals were re-done in various takes.  It wasn’t a one take live vocal performance.

I should probably have put more emphasis on the improvement part of what I said. She used to be a bit opinionated with stuff, but she is much better now.

Why would she sing live? There is no audience to play to. It's just a camera. When you sing live you get instant feedback.

I would have preferred the most killer intense dance routine ever filmed. You can't even tell if her lips are moving.

Wasn't the mic her mask though? The microphone was just a prop.

the mask wasn't a mic, the mask had a mic in it so the visuals worked, but it wasn't a microphone to connect to the sound system. The hand mic was her mic, which is why she used it. Why would she hold a mic just for the sake of it?

The way fans have made this up with no source

I’m not saying that those vocals aren’t live, but there is no source from anyone at MTV or her team that her mask had a mic in it.
