I’m speaking on threads involving Black people, Black artists, Black culture, BLM, racism, and other related threads. I even noticed some GGD users here sugarcoat blatant racist comments as shade which needs to be discussed. I don’t know what kinda debate you had with @PETTY and everyone else, but please don’t be rude to me. I’m so sorry if I’m getting the wrong end of the stick here but it seems to me like you would want a POC Only section in which only POC can access? Basically, therefore causing and encouraging segregation on a public forum, all just because you don’t like that other people have differing opinions? If people don’t want white individuals commenting on something, then simply don’t post it lol, naturally any human being is going to have an opinion on what is posted no matter what colour their skin is. It seems to me that some people on here would like segregation and would encourage a POC only section. It’s silly to expect everybody that is white to stay quiet and not express their views No one is saying nonPOC can't express their views on a situation, tf? But what yall are NOT going to do is "LMAO" on people's serious opinions. That's rude of any one to do especially on a sensitive subject. and this isn't just any post. it's a race post asking if people are offended by this or not. you can have an opinion, but don't run through the post giving "LMAO" reactions to those, especially the black users, who have serious opinions on this. I take your point. And agree that certain posts and treads should enjoy more sensitivity from the users. But I fail to see the link between racist behavior and an insensitive post or like. LGMonster95 13,704
People get extremely offended because of shits like this instead of real stuff that they should be offended like not wearing a f*cking mask and keeping distance during a f*cking global pandemic with a virus that k*lls innocent lives each and every day

Franch Toast 26,911
I'm just going to leave these here But for real, I think it's important to listen and try to understand why some people, particularly black people, might find it problematic, even if you don't. For one reason, at least in the US, black people have been fired for wearing hairstyles that are deemed too "black" (like dreadlocks) and/or told to cover up these hairstyles. It's not my job to say whether or not it's appropriation for non-black people to wear these hairstyles, but it's important to be aware that it means different things for a black person and a non-black person to wear them. Rio 5,088
Cool. The next time I see a black woman wear denim (i.e a western garment) or if I see Beyonce wear an Indian attire again or if I sere Rihanna wear that Geisha outfit, I'll be sure to write some pissy articles own how "racist" it is. Cultural appropriation is a big load of bullshit, sorry not sorry. Far from racist. If anything, it's admiring someone's culture, giving it exposure and allowing it to become normal to the point it isn't ostracised so much. I dunno.
