I donât think thereâs anything wrong with discussing why things like that shouldnât have been done, but unless the person is still doing it they shouldnât be cancelled or anything. People learn and grow and Iâm sure we all did stupid insensitive things in the past that donât reflect our current attitudes or beliefs (Iâm also not at all saying Adele should be cancelled over the hair, just that we shouldnât compare things that are two decades apart) So itâs not offensive because it was so long ago? This is how people react when they know they're wrong. LOL, you're not that important for me to care about your opinion, I was laughing at it. Reactions are there for a reason and I'm entitled to use them as I want? đ I have expressed my opinion, don't worry. I could even report you. How about growing up and learn how to discuss with other people? Inclusion and DIVERSITY. Learn those words. I don't think you have ever complained about Gaga "appropriating" Japanese culture? One last thing; Adele is a BLM and GLBTQ+ supporter. Fight the right battles. Have a good life mate đ

Like how many of us haven't done things over a period of years that would be seen really negatively if it was public? If u haven't then ur an angel  Also that ethics and awareness grow and evolve over time. I think he was saying it's not fair to hold someone to the same standards a long time ago (especially on little more trivial things) to the now when now there's a lot more awareness to stuff and people really should know better  That's a generalization btw. ShayCristoforo 10,217
It's really taking a lot of pages to inform y'all that the feelings/opinions of BIPOC matter most (when it comes to these discussions) Â Â Get the pinot ready, because it's turtle time. To stop racism and cultural appropriation, there needs to be education. People need to openly discuss and learn from each other. That takes time and wasn't really done much years ago. If people practiced cultural appropriation years ago, but don't anymore, it's usually safe to say they've learned it's not ok and moved on. Unless their behaviour I indicates otherwise, I find it a waste of time to attack them. There's big battles to fight, especially in the US.
