From Blackpink's older songs "Kick It", "See You Later", "Ddu Du Ddu Du", "Kill This Love"
They were building-up to be warrior women, or  bad/tough  women.
They even self-brand with a motto:  "Blackpink is the Revolution".

With the recent collaborations with "Kiss And Make-Up", "Sour Candy", and "Ice Cream".
Western artists are trying to turn BP into weaker women, turn them into Barbie Dolls.

I am really disappointed in this song. It's vapid, cheap sounding and obnoxious. The song is lyrically below all levels and both the song and video are very pandering. They even made them put in blue lenses. I'm 100% sure Blackpink isn't even fully on board with recording this song but was made to by YG.

They shipped it, but it got shipped back

Have you listened to the lyrics of the song? You think those lyrics make BP look like weak women?

Well, this was a disappointment and a half. Don't really know what I was expecting but it wasn't this. The lyrics seem so forced and cringey and the sexual innuendo of it is really creepy when they've got the whole Lolita thing going on. The set looks exactly like the one from Fergie's MILF $ video! Where's all the bombast that I saw in their previous songs? It feels as if they've been weakened and this sound doesn't even sound like them. It's like they've been put there to make Selena shine. I don't know if even they're feeling this but were pushed into it.

Well, if it flops, let's hope this paves the way for Sour Candy to become a proper single with a video now. The public's already proved that they like that one. And seeing as they managed to film a video in quarantine with everyone in it to the point where it doesn't even look like there's a pandemic affecting shooting, don't tell me Gaga can't make this possible.

Absolutely love it. Some of you take pop music way too seriously. It's supposed to be fun, catchy, and a little cringey. Oh well! I'll be bopping all weekend!

"Look so good, yeah, look so sweet....." reminds me "I want to ride my bicycle
I want to ride my bike...."

You're right, the reference to candy threw me off.  SC lyrics show 2 sides of a person.

Hope there's a music video for SC, to showcase their strong side.

I was wrong about SC, but the other 2 songs were co-wrote by western artists, I don't want to mention any names.
