If it is going to be a big night for Gaga i want to experience it live but i don't want to stay up if she just performs rom and wins maybe one or two awards. Unless they're giving her the Vanguard Award, I would only expect ROM and not something like a medley, which honestly is fine. Plus this will probably be the only time her and Ari ever perform ROM together. The fact we're even getting that is pretty big, considering we still haven't gotten a Telephone performance with Beyoncé... On the other hand, maybe MTV wants to kill two birds with one stone and give Ari her first VOTY and Gaga her second. The performance will probably be great, but not ground breaking.
