Actually, no. It's not our duty all the time to clarify our stances. You have the resources, and you figure that out. I'm not going to write down the user names who are proactively supporting TRUMP. I have been here from 2016, and I have noticed the pattern. Why I would waste my time on Trump supporters?

This girl is literally just feeding the fire (and probably has been fed the fire) that the only viable solution is full break up from her mom. Like that is divisive. Rather than saying, we disagree but here is common ground, here is where I can teach her, here is where she has taught me, it’s like finding universality isn’t Kumbaya, and finding differences also doesn’t suggest that there is nothing in common. 
 

also a lot of people who say All Lives Matter UNDERSTAND black lives matter but fail to see how they can subscribe to a movement that endorses defunding police, socialist propaganda (like tearing down statues), like a lot of All Lives Matter people (I’m not one, but I’m also not a Black Lives Matter guy) think that the cheap labor in prisons is unjust, they also think police unions should be more controlled, they also believe in revoking immunity, they also believe that the war against drugs has failed and has only disproportionately hurt a certain community. Is that not common ground? And then you can differ! You can say that we should defund, while they say we should reform, and that is q conversation. 
 

but in 2020, literally u can’t find the racism that people are accused of these days. You can’t compare it to the 1960’s or to the days of slavery as so many people want to do. I’m not saying racism is extinct, I’m not saying there isn’t a LOT to be learned and changed for the better, yes to all that, but I see my eagerness to agree with BLM tun out of steam when all I see is contradiction from what is said and what is seen. I still think about the free passes given to Black Lives Matter cofounders for anti semetic and pro Maduro stances, and I call it out. So.... what was my point? Oh yeah, nothing is monolithic

You're missing the point though. There is no talking through with some people. Kellyanne Conway is one of those people. In a more general sense, sometimes people just don't understand and you need to let them go. There's no point in trying to break through a brick wall. Not everything can and will be solved just by talking things through. It's easier said than done, but sometimes moving past toxic people is the best way to go about things. In the time we live in right now, politics is part of that. Family is not absolved of that. Again, sometimes blood isn't thicker than water.

The reason why "All Lives Matter" exists is solely to discredit the Black Lives Matter movement. That's it. If ALM people believe that police unions should be more controlled, that cheap labor in prison is unjust, and that the war on drugs has disproportionally affected communities of color, they need to support the BLM movement. It's as simple as that. Also, "socialist propaganda" like Defund the Police has been skewed by media (particularly right-winged media) in order to once again discredit the movement. Defunding the Police is about re-allocating funds from police unions into things like mental health centers, public transportation, public schools, etc. 

The racism faced in 2020 and in the 1960s is different, yes, but the fact that we're still fighting for civil rights should tell you something about just how far we've actually come. That's like saying, "Well things are shitty now, but they were shittier before, so, what gives?". Yeah, things are relatively better now, but they're still shitty for a lot of people. And shitty isn't good enough. When it comes to things like cancel culture, that's a different topic entirely. I think that sometimes people take it too far when it comes to what's "racist" or not, but POC still have it very difficult. We need to work harder so that they're really seen as equals.
