MY FAVORITE PART!

dance party dancing GIF

Oh so a DJ Fresh stan who time traveled from 2011 wants to comment on a 2012 Swedish House Mafia remix of an Elton demo that they tacked Gaga onto? Please

Spoiler

It's not a bad song. It's cute, the lyrics are fine, the subject matter is probably the most interesting in the whole album. I still haven't warmed up to the outro, though. Little to no payoff, in my opinion! Maybe that will change over time!

I think it would be a good single the same way Gypsy would’ve been. A good last single to end a tour, nice but simple video. One for the fans.

Hopefully someday you can enjoy it like others do!

Can't wait to enjoy it with those four other people!

LOL I kid. It's not my favorite, but I do think it's enjoyable. I think the transition from Chromatica III into SFA is spectacular, and the verses are some of my favorite parts of the album. Everything about them! The synthesized pizzicato strings, the dramatic lyrics, the resonance in the vocal production- all excellent.

Yes. The only single worthy song actually, Babylon is the only live-performance worthy song.
The rest of the album is an outdated, gay, cringy utter garbage.

@baazyll @Arbmonster @KEVIN STEVE Why are you guys up in my notifications like this over an opinion when I don't know any of you guys and we are not friends?

We're online, nobody is friends with anyone lol

It's just a sad reaction, I don't remember your comment but you probably said something negative about Replay? That would deserve 10 “sad”s :trollga:

Edit: you said SFA was the best song, which we obviously don't agree with. Nothing deep or disrespectful as you clearly knew what the reaction meant. Sorry if somehow ypu felt that way though

You need to be friends to interact with other members and their posts on a public and anonymous forum? **** I've been doing GGD wrong this whole time :duck:

I was listening with friends who don’t follow Gaga the other day, and out of all the songs I played in a mix of other artists (SC, Alice, SFA, Babylon), SFA was the first song they We’re like “wait is this Gaga??” And seemed excited by it and surprised.   That said, listening to Gaga songs with non-Gaga fans usually gives me a different and more critical perception, and the song honestly felt like it dragged a bit too much/long for radio - much the same way that free woman album version can feel, which is shocking as they are quite short songs all things considered.   Also I will agree with previous posters that the lyrics are not all that relatable, and confusing for non pop & theater stans, but my friends did say they love her “growl” and the beat was “dope”.

SC they liked the beat and were dancing but no one even realized it was Gaga, which in some ways could be good for GP that are put off by her, but ultimately I think the song will not be not memorable enough to make any impact on her career past the point radios stop playing it

everyone was dancing to Babylon though despite it being (in my opinion) a pretty traditionally “gay” song for the GP.  and everyone seemed to think it was really catchy beat and lyric wise.  And that’s saying something cause the lyrics are not relatable to the average listener, but somehow it worked.  I really see this as our best option currently.  But maybe I’m wrong
