HeavyCapiLover 4,351
Soo with this new Micheal Jackson movie coming out, I've been thinking, what if it was about gaga? There would be a LOT of things to include, gaga's carreer has been quite an intense ride, full of ups and downs that would give a lot of content for the movie. Since not everything can be shown in a 2h movie, what key moments of gaga's life and career do you think should be included in the movie? Personally, I'd start the biopic at the time when she was 19, trying to get signed by a label and then rejected, Then I would include her becoming a gogo dancer, meeting lady starlights etc until finally being signed and starting her career as lady gaga to show her evolution and why she became that kind of artist. I would show quickly this first period of success of the TF, TFM and BTW without getting too much into the detailed, picking up some key moments such as the release of BR, her first grammy win and her progressive engagement for the LGBTQ community. I would then include a part about the issues she has faced in 2013/2014, from her broken bone to the fybromalgia diagnosis, and her drugs and alcool consumption problem at the time etc. Then, it would transition to her starting to explore her singing and acting talent, showing another side of her artistry and opening a new era of success. Maybe a s$x scene with michael with The beast playing in the background What do you think?

hELXIG 44,812
NOTHING! NO MORE BIOPICS They're creepy and weird and just feel predatory to those who have died and insensitive to their surviving relatives and to their legacies I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin. 3
gagacabana 3,598
Gaga's biopic already exists I don't believe in the glorification of murder, I do believe in the empowerment of women 4

Elton John was involved as an executive producer. And it very tastefully combines the true story with more abstract and fantastical elements. It's not a plain 1-on-1 retelling and it doesn't proclaim to be a documentary, but it still captures the essence of what Elton wanted to share. Much like what Gaga did with MTN. It still bothers me how much of Bohemian Rhapsody was sold as being the 'true story' while actually being a load of BS, just to fit the mold of what a Hollywood movie should be
