On August 21, 2015 Lana Del Rey released the first promotional song off her fourth studio album Honeymoon.

A soul-pop ballad, the song features a stunning bridge that interpolates David Bowie's signature track Space Oddity by. The instrumental contains instruments such as piano, strings and saxophone and the song is very similar with the rest of the album in terms of aesthetic, style and sound.

Lana herself described the song as being her favorite and called it 'jazzy'.

What is your opinion on this song or album? Do you remember it getting released? Did your perception of it change over time (perhaps you grew to appreciate it after not loving in during the first listens :oprah:)? Lastly, would you love Lana to record more songs in this particular style, jazzy, romantic and with emphasis on her vocals?

My favorite Lana song, and one of my favorites ever. I still remember vividly when I listed to it for the first time and got lost on its nostalgic melody, lyrics and vibe. Timeless.

But you are who you are
I won't change you for anything
For when you are crazy
I'll let you be bad
I'll never dare change thee
To what you are not

Well, I lost myself when I lost you
But I still got jazz when I've got the blues
I lost myself and I lost you too
And I still get trashed, honey, when I hear your tunes.

I wish she would perform this song live instead of singing snippets throughout the years.

Poltergeist

Oh my, how I hated this song in the beginning. One day it just came on the shuffle when I was cleaning the dishes and I've heard the bridge for the first time, and it changed everything, it became one of my favorites. That bridge is the most beutiful thing she's ever created!

I've been getting messages from my deep waters

Sister

I love it and the whole album. I was on here when it first came out and listened to it here at that moment. I love Lana's music so much.

The future's uncertain and the end is always near.
