GenericPhag 143 Posted August 22, 2020 Share Posted August 22, 2020 Lovegame -> Summerboy (the single choices were perfect this era, but I could see this doing well back then) Alejandro -> DITD (Again, amazing single choices and I personally wouldn't have changed anything) Marry the Night -> Hair (MTN is one of my absolute fav Gaga songs but I chose it by default since it flopped. Imo, Hair would have been the only other real single choice from BTW. Stuff like Bloody Mary, Scheibe, and HML would have tanked let's be real) DWUW -> Gypsy (By far one of the most palatable songs on the album while also being very "Gaga". I love songs like Venus and Aura, but they are just a touch too weird for the GP) Perfect Illusion -> A-Yo (Love PI, but it wasn't the right song to start the era and act as a career transition imo) Stupid Love -> Alice (A dumb single choice. Not that I dislike SL, I am a SL defender, but it made no sense as a lead whereas Alice makes complete sense.
