Let's just all agree that you shouldn't hit people. Violence is bad, we all learned that in kindergarten, etc etc. But tbh, some bitches have it coming and we shouldn't feel sympathy when their actions are returned in kind 

And a little perspective goes a long way. You don't punch someone when they insult you. But this wasn't a mere insult, it was a torrent of hate being thrown at these men, who were minding their own business, by an asshole who is (apparently) in an actual position of power and was trying to dehumanize them. They weren't just empty taunts either, they're backed up by years of history and even modern struggles that black people face. If you ask me, he's lucky he only got punched  but that's just my opinion

Being a pacifist is admirable but just like any philosophy, you have to pick your battles and it doesn't always apply to every situation.
