Charli XCX, Rina Sawayama have been praising Chromatica to the heavens ever since it came out (Rina even mentioned Gaga in a music video), BLACKPINK is about to release an album and a collab with Selena, Adele has been serving face and body on instagram weekly, Taylor Swift (a certified LM) has just surprise released an acclaimed smash album... Phone calls, DMs, texts etc, even sending people flowers and little gifts. It keeps coming out over the years that she has. I think she just likes to keep it private and probably asks them not to talk about their private discussions publicly. These public comments on Instagram are just little throwaways. Many artist mention Gaga on their work and Gaga doesn't say anything, she doesn't have to of course, but that's not the case with Katy. She's literally mentioning Gaga everywere I'm not trying to shade Gaga, she's known for not even acknowledging award nomiations, but it seems like they have a personal problem or something happening between them that we don't know about. It's not normal anymore. Gaga's not forced to interact on other people's achievements or album releases, but she still manages to interact with everyone at least once BUT Katy Perry, even when she's clearly trying to get her attention. Maybe they talk behind the scenes, but it doesn't feel like it. We all know 2013-2014 were dark times for Gaga, and Katy had her part to it. The whole Roar vs. Applause, mechanical horses, green hair etc. Maybe she's not into Katy because it feels like bringing the past again to her, who knows . Again, this is just a reach, but it's so weird how Gaga interacts publicly with everyone, but the last time she interacted with Katy was back in 2018 when those Kesha texts leaked on the internet and showed Gaga saying Katy was rude. By this metric, Gaga is on the outs with her entire family, everyone in the Haus, every OG Rivington Rebel, and yes, 99.9% of the industry/world. LOL You can't be like " I never claimed to know the truth" but ALSO say clearly xyz is happening and that everyone chooses to be blind about it. Social media in itself is weird and not normal. Katy is apparently very active, tagging people and, therefore, letting the world speculate about her private business. Gaga does not. This is probably why many celebs are semi-active like Gaga, cuz every little action and non-action is read into like this. They could be talking every day for all we know.
