Britney's Conservatorship unchanged after today's Court hearing

Britney Spears wants a change in her 12-year conservatorship but she didn't get it at today's court hearing. It appears the temporary conservatorship Jodi has over Britney has been extended to at least February 1st 2021 and that Jamie Spears will still be conservator of Britney's estate until at least this time.

Britney's court approved Attorney has until September 18th 2020 to file a petition.

Britney's lawyer filed legal docs asking to permanently replace her dad, Jamie Spears, as the conservator over her person. She also wants a bank or other financial institution to manage her business affairs. Currently, Jamie is the sole conservator over her business affairs.

TMZ's sources (AKA JAMIE'S TEAM) have said the following:

Our sources say Britney's problem in this case is that there has been a declaration she's not able to make important life decisions because of her mental illness, so her wishes will almost certainly be tempered by the very fact there is a conservatorship.

Sources connected to Britney say she is not doing well and has not been on an even keel for more than a year.

There has been a social media push -- and even the ACLU joined in -- questioning the conservatorship and advocating that it end, but multiple sources connected with the conservatorship say the doctors who have been caring for Britney over the last dozen years have said the conservatorship is necessary for her safety and possibly even her survival.

Britney's attorney even said Jamie will 'aggressively' contest him being removed from the Conservatorship, so this makes it CLEAR as day Jamie and his team are TMZ's sources, in order to keep control.

Imagine Britney's own attorney saying she is doing well and the conservatorship should be substantially changed and 'sources' are saying she requires it for 'survival' - absolutely disgusting.

The way her own father is doing this, Ingham (Brit's attorney) even literally said in the documents yesterday that Jamie will strongly contest being removed from the Conservatorship. He truly is disgusting.

Sure Jamie, she can't survive on her own but she can go on numerous world tours, have a 4 year vegas residency and be a judge on X Factor

Britney has lost tens of millions of dollars (if not more) in expenses for this thing and she is being court ordered to spend her money like this on endless legal fees

Does this mean we will have to wait till Feb 2021? Or will there be other court hearings and the lawyer filing a petition?

I feel like the teams plan is to blame everything on Jamie, while covering up their asses.

Disgusting. The conservatorship is in no way needed for her survival, obviously, and she's still very much imprisoned.

So the next Hearing will be 7th October, related to the accounts. It’s been on the docket for a few weeks. The court document from yesterday says whatever petition Samuel files will be discussed at a hearing on October 14th.
