If Biden listens to people like Cardi on M4A, he will adopt those policy goals. But I did not say Cardi should shout at him, I said the conversation is misleading because it seems like they agree when they dont. And what you said about politicians listening to people is very untrue, politicians run and serve the interest of corporations, military industrial comples, big pharma, and wall street banks. You're contributing to the division that they spoke about in the video. It's important for people with differing opinions to have discussions, or else minds are never changed. Special interests of course play a factor in decision-making for politicians, but nothing is as powerful as the voters that got you your job in the first place. The only reason some countries got gay marriage (barely) is that it’s much easier to be culturally progressive than economically progressive (which is why most people give themselves a bachelor’s degree on social issues and think they’re hot scheiße). If the founding fathers looked at opinion polls on issues today vs. many of the leader’s own platform, they’d weep. It’s sad. Especially since sexism, bigotry, sex wealth inequality, and men being horny rats are the main reason why women are slutty. Do I really have to explain this for the third time? I have no problem with Cardi talking to Biden, voting Biden, or promoting Biden. What I had a problem with is the video makes it look like Biden supports M4A when he doesnt. If voters play a factor on politicians decisions, then why are the most popular policies from all parties ignored? Example is Guantanamo Bay, Iraq and Afghan war, Surveillance Under The Patriot Act, Corporate bailouts, Occupy wall street, Jailing whistleblowers, and much more. Even controversial things like M4A is popular with Republicans! Yes they will let two men get married, but when it comes to things going against corporate interest, they dont take you into consideration.
