We all know that it's payola and the same ten songs fill rotation. That's a game labels play for new artists; and established ones only with that a bop that might be well suited, like ROM. It's more about money than taste. She can be on several types of radio all at once if it's right, like Despacito. What was the last song of hers that was played to death in regular rotation anyway? Edge of Glory? Did Applause get that love? Shallow was absolutely everywhere but how did top pop radio play it? From how I sees it, with Joanne era, and lack of Chromatica promo, we are not ready. Her image as pop star is way too ingrained within many Monsters minds. We are not ready to let go of that.
