Not surprised about this either. Lackluster and cant believe Pharrell got a writing cred on this amazing album

@ode LOVE the robotic vibes they gave this compared to the original Rebel Heart demo

@God Control Feels like a HC or RH leftover

@nickkoko Much better than the demo version we got a few years before. A fun song, great beat.

@MonsterOfSpain If you've gotten to this point you'll know by now that Madame X is also an autotune lover... Jokes aside, this bop is honestly quite underrated. I read it was originally for Rebel Heart which kinda makes sense.

@whoresup Really enjoyed this as an unreleased Rebel Heart track, think it’s a bit of a bop just a shame so many good tracks didn’t make the album at the time.

@Trillion Reasons To be honest, I like Rebel Heart Demo Version of this song a little bit more, but I am glad Madonna kept this track. Also, lyrically it feels like a part of Extreme Occident. I mean, in Extreme Occident Madonna says that she has finally found herself, her freedom, and in BTUTTB she says: "Now I know how freedom feels, I'm never gonna stop". Another song about freedom and enjoying your life.

@Philo I like the beat the most, it's very far-eastern sounding combined with house, my cup of tea, but the vocals are meh.

@Lionel Ronaldo Horrible. Just left it out the portfolio.

@Blown Away This one mentally cracked me. I was in desperate need of a song on this album that was even just tolerable and this one came on. I loved the instrumental and I thought I had finally found it. Then the vocals came in and my hope was crushed like a fly. Whoever did the vocal production on this thing should be banned from making music ever again.

@memomemome It seems belong to Hard Candy? idk
Oh wait I realized Pharrell write this. no wonder.

@MingersPrayer The leaked demo was better than the final version. To me this doesn't fit on the Madame X project. The Pharrell input actually makes me think of Hard Candy even though it was written 10 years later. Too repetitive for me.

@erotic4 Horrible, one of the worst things I ever heard from madonna, but a few seconds at the end were good.

@shoful I have mixed feelings about this track. I never liked it when it leaked for Rebel Heart. And even though she revamped it for this album it still has the same effect to me. The changed lyrics make it more relevant to this album so I appreciate that but am slightly annoyed she never says the word “Beat” even though it’s in the title. It’s like she knows we all heard it before and just duped us. I do love the super robotic sound of this song tho. Her most autotuned vocals on the album.

this song reminds me of Confessions and not in a good way...

@ode THE most underpraised song on Madame X <3

@God Control Alright

@nickkoko A nice closer to the super deluxe version. Not many vocals from M here, but I love the echoing "ciao bella, ciao bella..." vocals throughout the song. The production is also really nice.

@MonsterOfSpain Not sure if she was trying to do a Isaac 2.0 here. I like the Bella Ciao inspiration but honestly I barely ever play it. It's nice as a bonus though

@whoresup Mediocre I can’t remember much about this song.

@Trillion Reasons I love, love this song! However, I would enjoy it even more if there's more Madonna.

@Philo I don't really care about the physical issue bonus tracks.

@Lionel Ronaldo Only nice extra song of this album.

@Blown Away Songs like these are the reason no one buys, streams or cares about her post-2010 albums. The 1-77-OUT was totally deserved.

@MingersPrayer Love the world music influence on this song - it's fun but definitely a b-side. Never listen to this song.

@erotic4 I like the instrumental and the male voice, but that's all.

@shoful This song is downright BEAUTIFUL! Its so relaxing and takes me to like a tropical paradise on the beach. Its so happy and fun to listen to. I’m not sure what the man is saying because it’s hard to find the translation online. I would have liked this to take the place of Bitch I’m Loca on the standard version of the album. I think this has a greater purpose to the album and draws in more diverse global sounds!

@God Control Good

@nickkoko This song has really grown on me. The beat is great, and Quavo's feature isn't as offensive as I though it would be.

@MonsterOfSpain This is probably really unpopular but it's one of my favorites. I hate mumble ruppers but I even dig Quavo's part too. Really catchy and the bridge is definitely a highlight, makes me feel on top of the world. Also the Eurovision performance is iconic already.

@whoresup This is quite average for me, not here for that amount of autotune and it just doesn’t really go anywhere in my opinion.

@Philo After that Eurovision performance I became 100% uninterested in this song. It's low key catchy and sometimes I hum it without paying attention, but still doesn't have replay value and ranks at the lower end of the album quality-wise. With this one the tour did help me like it a little bit more tho.

@Lionel Ronaldo I like the rhythm and message however is this autotune? I don’t like the rap part.

@Blown Away The ultimate climax of trend hopping. Tropical sound with Latin and reggae influences, check. Rent-a-rapper, check. Auto-Tune, check. Yet it doesn't work.

@memomemome Slick collaboration, and Quavo is pretty great here. Another collab which is surprisingly quite good.

@MingersPrayer This gets a lot of hate but I like it. Nice production and good message. I think there are stronger songs that would've made good promo singles over this though.

@Pennywise At first, I hated it. Then I loved it so much it became my most listened Madonna track.

@monstertoronto Cute

@erotic4 Kind of reggae? hmm idk. I like the instrumental, Future's verses are dispensable. It reminded me of Unapologetic Bitch.

@joaomggd Quavo god...where do I even start

@shoful I will say I had my doubts about this song especially after that Eurovision performance, but the incorporation of Jamaican dancehall and the woke lyrics really make this song fun to rap. Madonna’s mumbled lyrics was a treasure trove on how to decipher them. I eventually gave up and looked them up and made it make sense in my brain. Now anytime this song comes on I just have to chant her verse. The verses are really meaning full and I think speak a lot about the current state of the work. Almost like she predicted it! I cam absolutely do without the Quavo verse, the tour version that doesn’t include him is EVEN BETTER! I cannot wait to get the Audio release of it so we can all include it into our Madame X playlists!

There are so many cases where the deluxe tracks are better than tracks that made the main album ... this is not one of them :reductive:

I didn't think Future was terrible. I think some other songs could have gone first tbh
