RRR 3,996
Not a good argument, especially when he was getting tens of thousands of people every time he stepped outside until coronavirus happened

Agreed, and he's only gonna become more unpopular from now on, it seems like. He/him/his

Sure, but if it were not for the virus, Trump would absolutely still pull an impressive crowd in Florida — a state he carried and has trended republican since 2016. Imo. Imo. I mean sure, you could say that, but I've never been a big fan of, "Oh, but if 'x' happened, things would be like this..." The reality is that "x" did happen. That is, the coronavirus pandemic did happen and because Trump didn't use the first 4-5 months to really do anything about it, it's exploded to the situation we have today. If Trump loses, it will be because of his handling of the coronavirus (as well as BLM). The impeachment didn't really work out for Democrats or really anything else the Dems wanted to push on the Trump administration. That's sort of like saying, "Well Herbert Hoover would've won the election had it not been for the Great Depression." Well, maybe, maybe not, but the Great Depression did happen and it cost him the election. 𝔗𝔥𝔢 𝔪𝔬𝔫𝔰𝔱𝔢𝔯 𝔱𝔬𝔯𝔢 𝔞𝔴𝔞𝔶 𝔦𝔱𝔰 𝔪𝔞𝔰𝔨 𝔞𝔫𝔡...𝔦𝔱𝔰 𝔣𝔞𝔠𝔢 𝔴𝔞𝔰 𝔪𝔦𝔫𝔢. I wouldn't say his supporters are necessarily dwindling, they are hardcore fans who have their own narrative on what's going on. It's hard to say for certain. If Trump loses it will have nothing to do with Biden, who is just a placeholder And you're right, if Trump loses it will be because of his handling of the coronavirus

Of course he still has a very strong and supportive fanbase, but he definitely is losing support. I do agree that if Trump loses, it's not because of Biden, though. People are voting for Biden because they just hate Trump. There aren't many people that are super enthusiastic about Biden the way that Trump supporters are enthusiastic about voting for him.
