When some monsters are disappointed, they say the worst things they could think of. If she proves them wrong, they say they won't doubt her again but then go back at it afterwards  :huntyga:. I suppose they choose to expect the worst so that they won't be disappointed. But what a sad way of thinking because you can... idk be patient? Or at least express your disappointment in a constructive manner, which will encourage a civil discussion?

Many replies under Gagas IG announcement of the album delay were quite supportive and understanding. Then as always, people used it as an opportunity to transfer every frustration and grievances in their life into truly vile and hurtful comments. Cowards hiding behind a screen.

Even one prominent Gaga fan account said something like  "I'm gonna join that Facebook group. You know the one." No laugh emoji, no jk, nothing -- just a declaration that they (someone Gagas team contacts pretty regularly) were going to join a group that was established specifically to cyberbully a talented classmate named Stefani.

Anonymous randos talking sh!t I can get over. But this, from that person, even hurt my feelings.

exactly

Happy people don't spread misery, they don't even have the time. Unhappy people, on the other hand, want everybody else to feel the same as they do. When I was young, my mom always used to say (since english isn't my first langage I'm not really sure about the translation :huntyga:) ... that what you have in your heart is always what's going to come out! That has helped me deal with bullies in my life. Bullies want you to feel bad about yourself, in order to make themselves feel better. You could find multiple examples on stan twitter, for example. The people who always mock others' looks, hate the way they look themselves. I can't count how many times I have seen people who call celebrities (among which Gaga herself) ugly, literally melting down 'cause somebody called them unattractive!!! Knowing that takes away their power and it only takes a few observations to realize that the words that comes out of someone's mouth, is a reflection of what they think of themselves.

sorry for the long comment :huntyga:

the level of wisdom

It's only during trying times that you know who your people are! Some people in her fanbase are, tbh, vile and self-centered. If her being compassionate and kind is a problem for them, they might as well unstan 'cause she ain't gonna change  :trollga:

Half of the people here were dragging her for doing ASIB. Called it a side project. Shallow was too loud and had "crowd noises".

They wanted her to leave ASIB aside and film a Cure music video. :smh:

And when the acclaim started coming in, they switched like :poot:

I swear I saw people on twitter who said they didn't care for "Shallow" when it was first released but are now the loudest about its success... it's just too funny  :poot:
