Yeah, the album is finally over and this is just a watered down Norman ****ing Rockwell. She's a terrific songwriter but this is just not it.

peace:

im seeing a running theme that it's just beautiful instrumentals with Taylor just talking and lightly singing occasionally throughout the whole thing. She's not doing anything unique with her delivery of the lyrics.

it's just not dynamic.

Girl and the way all those reviews came at the same time. Like it's a marketing strategy. She literally sent them the album and asked them to publish the reviews exactly at midnight :bear: She's really thirsty for that Grammy.

thats called a review embargo and when they are allowed to post them :haroon:

Everyone should realize that with this type of album it's going to take some time to "digest." It's not a big dance bop record that instantly catches your attention with huge production. NFR was the same way. You need to listen to it a few times to hear the artistry and contrast between each track. It's not "boring" it's just a different style of music that you may or may not enjoy

Betty is ok (I feel like popheads in particular will like it the most since it's the most upbeat) but peace outshines it for me.

NFR didn't need any digestion.

I feel like this album could have been shorter. There were really high moments but the low moments were really bad. And Idk if it's just me but I love Jack Antonoff's work but the productions sometimes was kinda noisy :ohwell:

Girl same. Idc what these kids think, this is the album I’ve always knew she could make and she delivered so hard.

Not to take from your theory but NFR was an instant smash for me.
