After my first listen I can tell it's a really beautiful album, but I need another one to take it all in properly. The thing that jumped out at me right away is that Taylor is just an incredible songwriter; she paints such a vivid picture with her lyrics, it's really magical. I knew this already, but it's crystal clear here.

My favourites at the moment are the 1 and cardigan, but to be honest I'm having trouble distinguishing the rest of the songs or remembering any other stand outs after one listen because it's a very similar vibe throughout. I've no doubt that it'll grow on me though, although I think I'll need to be in a very specific mood to listen to it again in the future after today.

EDIT - Okay, August is good. Probably the best song I've heard yet on the album. Her voice is beautiful

It should go to Alternative but the Grammys will nominated it in Pop Vocal even tho it has no pop at all

This is what I've wanted from Taylor. There's a maturity in this music and her songwriting couldn't be better. Really happy she decided to drop this when she did. It's all such a vibe. Definitely a good album to listen to front to back when you're in a specific mood

if your definition of good music is songs that are bangers, then you're not going to like this album. if you go into this album expecting an album being played at a cafe shop and you're staring out the window or sitting on a beach reading Nicholas Sparks but like really enjoying it or sitting at a fireplace in a log cabin in the fall, then this album is for you.
