Popular Opinion: Born This Way is Her Best Song

RRR

Featured Posts

Where is the "Fact" Tag? :huntyga: Born This Way is her BEST song. It is upbeat, fancy, catchy, and sent a powerful message at the time that changed life for a great many people, and still changes lives (which the impact of that, for some reason, is COMPLETELY written off by this fanbase :wtfga:).

I know some like the Halloween bop Bad Romance, and some like daddy Bradley's inclusion on Shallow.

But Born This Way stands the test of time. 1000th #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

God said, "I make no mistakes." :haroon:

REALITY

Is that a popular opinion? :awkney:

I mean, BTW is a good song, but I'd rank most of the BTW album over the song :awkney:

I never understood people saying the lyrics are “too literal” when this is the same girl that wrote “where are my keys? I lost my phone”

I think it’s definitely one of her best singles! As far as writing innovative, groundbreaking pop music, I think she has a few shinier jewels in her catalog :ohwell:

literally in my top 5 least listened to gaga songs

I actually "dislike" very few of her songs (maybe like 2 or 3) but this is one of them

Love the message and i'm not even a person who hears the express yourself part much in the song

I just find it cheesy and not that catchy for me

great for what it's done for her career and the community and the album itself is fantastic but the song is not it for me

It's not even among the best on BTW, let alone her entire discography :huntyga:

Soft, soothing, and succulent

I lowkey prefer the country road version :bradley:

Again BTW, like BR, is a great song and certainly an important moment in pop culture; but it just does not come close to holding a candle to countless other tracks by Gaga. I'd rank it at the bottom of the favorites from the album, too.

if I had to listen to either to the studio or the country road 100% no joke would pick country road every time

it's makes it not as cringy

Spoiler

I hate being critical of gaga but this just isn't it for me

I skip it. The lyrics seem too clunky to me like they are forced to fit the melody and I just don't care for it. I love the video though, that's a work of art.

I disagree, I think it’s aged badly and I rarely even listen to it anymore, it’s just so cringey.

The song is sadly overproduced and badly engineered. The hidden melodies, bells, chants, background vocals that she whispers would take the song to a whole new level of godly perfection. I don't have a problem with the lyrics, they're peak gagaisms.

I like dancin', and ponies....
