Again love the fact that this exists now In some localities they're considering or have already passed laws that allow people to be cited if they made a false report or something similar. For instance, the case a few weeks ago where a woman in Central Park called the police on a Black man who did nothing wrong and she lied saying he threatened her ended up being charged since she clearly lied about it and made a false report. So hopefully this and other laws going after this work in a similar fashion, though I agree in some cases it could be difficult to discern the truth.
