I don't mean just a specific year, but their whole career, because that's what really matters for the subject we're debating (most streamed female artists on Spotify daily) and the fact that Rihanna releases almost 6 singles a year for over a decade is nothing "fine", it seems more like a desperation, don't dare to compare her with Gaga because Gaga has less than half of her releases with the same career time.

Gaga's average doesn't even reach 3 singles released per year, unlike Rihanna (if we pretend Believe It doesn't exist like you did), the average reaches almost 6 singles released during each year of her career.

Stop making excuses that make no sense at all. :nails:

are you saying that rihanna is desperate? im lost

Ofc, that's why if we divide Rihanna's 70 singles by her daily streams on Spotify, the average is 95k per song. :toofunny:

Her average must be lower than Kesha's average and detail that Kesha doesn't have a thousand songs with Spotify's biggest artists like Rihanna has. :lmao:

Completely agree. 911 IS a GP favorite, all of my friends picked it out as one of their favorites from the album. The transition was viral the minute the album dropped and still has more potential. They’re truly missing out on at least some big exposure for the album and people realizing a meme that they love is produced by Gaga, not to mention another top 40 entry from the album on the Hot 100.

All they had to do was slap together some physicals and merch the week that the video came out and playlist more. It’s a third single or just post-album promo single, we weren’t expecting a radio tour and #1 playlist exposure, but some merch and some simple playlist placement wouldn’t have hurt a fly and would’ve paid off

I'm trying to stay positive but I seriously don't get wth is Gaga's team doing... like c'mon silence again? How longer will they be 'testing' the song? and how much do they expect the hype to last without doing ANY moves? it's been 10 whole days, and the GP moves fast. I guess they blew the hype and their chances once again... and it's not like they needed an 18 month old rollout plan to do the bare minimum..

Wait, (not directed at you), but aren’t we not supposed to criticize anything done by Gaga or her team? The VMAs / 911 MV was supposed to eradicate the fact that all they had to do in order to push Stupid Love (#5 debut), Rain On Me (#1 debut), and Chromatica (#1 debut) to be multi-week smashes was the bare minimum and didn’t, right?

ROM needed the smallest boost to remain Top 10 its 5th week after being 1 of the only #1 debuts to not drop like a rock, and to prevent ACR in the U.K. later on. Instead of an iTunes discount, extra bundles or signed copies, etc., it dropped 11-12 and then out of the Top 20 for good.

There’s literally nothing to “test” in 2020. The MV gave 911 initial momentum that other artists would kill for in a 3rd / post-album single, and that won’t be coming back after this cute week of a streaming bump fades.

justins sales were pretty low. only 27k??? i thought it would be around 60k or so. Yummy did 71k

You can’t have “lead” singles for different eras so close to each other and expect a fan base to continue to support you at the same levels of excitement and interest. 2020 was the first and last year where artists can rely on their fans to get them a massive debut; it’s back to finding ways to gain a hit organically.
