It needs to be treated like a proper single with many Spotify playlists, iTunes, radio promotion etc. With this kind of "promo" most of her songs would not make it Completely agree. 911 IS a GP favorite, all of my friends picked it out as one of their favorites from the album. The transition was viral the minute the album dropped and still has more potential. They’re truly missing out on at least some big exposure for the album and people realizing a meme that they love is produced by Gaga, not to mention another top 40 entry from the album on the Hot 100. All they had to do was slap together some physicals and merch the week that the video came out and playlist more. It’s a third single or just post-album promo single, we weren’t expecting a radio tour and #1 playlist exposure, but some merch and some simple playlist placement wouldn’t have hurt a fly and would’ve paid off British social ladies with upturned pinkies, glasses clinking // xoxoTEANUS

Anyways, I'm done with this. It's getting childish and petty instead of informative. Madonna: 88 singles released during 38 years of career | Average: 2.3 singles released per year. Rihanna: 70 singles released in just 15 years of career | Average: 4.7 singles released per year, and this using 'Believe It' — that you tried to hide, and then went back saying you didn't know about the existence of this song — cuz if we stop at Love On the Brain, her average of releases per year rises even higher, to 5.8 singles released per year. Look, I'm not criticizing the fact that Rihanna likes to do her thing, but don't act as if I don't know the truth about her always being in the Top 10 of the most streamed female artists on Spotify daily cuz the reason is obvious. I feel like they want to test it first before they'll invest on it
Quartz 12,518
What they need is to secretly pay at least the hundred biggest tiktok users doing a Chromatica II - 911 transition challenge. Come on, make it viral. You can't deny tiktok's power anymore. Even WAP is staying on top of the global charts because of tiktok. Inside, we are really made the same. 🕊

connorfilm 7,295
If Rain on Me is #37-40 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week, it will have spent 16 weeks (4 months) in the top 40. Slay a bit, Gags.

So what if it's 5 or 6 singles a year. Gaga has released three since March this year. She could easily release 6 if permitted. Gaga released 6 singles in 2011 plus the funny track with Justin Timberlake makes 7 if you want to count it. For someone who craves hard work 5 to 6 singles a year is fine. This is getting silly already. I don't mean just a specific year, but their whole career, because that's what really matters for the subject we're debating (most streamed female artists on Spotify daily) and the fact that Rihanna releases almost 6 singles a year for over a decade is nothing "fine", it seems more like a desperation, don't dare to compare her with Gaga because Gaga has less than half of her releases with the same career time. Gaga's average doesn't even reach 3 singles released per year, unlike Rihanna (if we pretend Believe It doesn't exist like you did), who has an average of almost 6 singles released during each year of her career. Stop making excuses that make no sense at all.
