P!nk and Gaga. They both use their voice for good. They create an environment where their fans of every different background or orientation can feel heard and understood. They root for the underdogs and fight for the misfits, and that’s something I will always admire and look up to.

Not sure if I look up to any celebrities that way, but I do look up to a lot of indie artists and DIY filmmakers. They inspire me to start a lot of projects that I never finish

Everything Zoe Saldana said

To me Britney showed that it doesn’t matter how famous (and she was mega famous) you aren’t no better than anyone else. Zoe wanted to quit Hollywood after her terrible experience working on pirates of the Caribbean because she was a no name person at the time that even the crew treated her like ****. It’s no wonder she is an inspiration to so many popstars today because of her strong attitude and grace. 
I remember reading a blog entry the director of Baby One More Time recalls sitting high up in the bleachers with the then young Britney and asked where does she see herself in 5 years assuming she would respond that she hopes to be the most famous popstar with mega selling albums but she said she hopes to be pregnant and married by 25. And to hear her say she truly didn’t think her career was gonna last this long as she assume she was gonna be a flash in the pan and collect her earnings to settle down. To see her over the years continue to pick herself up and still hold a smile despite everything she’s been through motivates me to wake up every. She’s a person who’s not afraid to show her battle scars and deals with negativity with a “idgaf” so even if the whole world dethrones her pop status, she would just go “that’s okay, you can have it” because she makes me put in perspective that there are more important things in this world and that sometimes it’s not that serious and helps me be less pretentious of myself since she too doesn’t take herself seriously so I learned to laugh at myself through her. Just like Finneas she’s that person you want to have coffee with and just want to know how they are doing. It’s why she’s such an icon because she’s this mega famous person for 20 years yet she is also someone you care as a person. 
 

Sorry for this long essay but out of all the popstars and I stan a lot, she taught me to be a good human because my parents were too busy fighting each other back in the 90s to raise me properly and Britney was always that light and that’s why she’s loved by many even Gaga, she’s just that beacon of light that everyone wants to be around.
