When we talk about the atrocities that this country commits on its own citizens of colors is vile. We DO NOT need to discuss what happens in other countries because we don’t live in other countries. That’s the definition of deflecting. I’m not protesting what’s going on in India or Peru. I’m protesting the country I live in. Not the countries that anybody originally came from or descended from. This country is garbage. Would I rather live here than maybe El Salvador? Yeah sure. But I’d also rather two week old pasta than moldy food from a dumpster. There’s just people on here from other country’s though that bash the US and hardly talk about their own country. That’s when it gets frustrating. And I get what you’re saying but I mean people from other countries are allowed to bash us even if their country is “worse” whatever that means. We used to be hailed as the greatest country in the world. But that was only because the internet wasn’t a thing and people weren’t aware of how people of color CONTINUE to be treated.
