Restrictions were immediately introduced during the first cases of virus infection. For example: cultural and social events could only take place for a certain number of people, schools were more or less immediately closed. Schools were replaced by home teachings and a special TV station was set up to educate children from home. Seniors were given 2-3 hours each morning to shop for necessary food and medicine. During these hours, no one but seniors were allowed to enter the shops, no exception. This was followed by the general closure of ALL shops, with the exception of grocery stores, pharmacies, etc. According to government regulations, everyone had to wear a mask, citizens were only allowed to travel to work, buy food supplies and that was it. However, the government's order to wear a mask was suspended by the fact that there was a shortage of masks globally at the time. The Czechs began sewing masks at home and distributing them to their families, friends and colleagues at work. At this point, the government decided to include hobby shops on the list of open stores to allow people to buy fabrics so they could continue making their own masks. That is why it is absolutely incomprehensible and unbelievable to me what the situation in the United States is currently like. The European states have taken a completely different approach to the US. In general, that's why Europeans cannot comprehend the whole ordeal.
