numb the flame 7,321
Remdesivir, which was developed to treat Ebola, is produced almost exclusively by US pharmaceutical giant Gilead Sciences - and it has been priced at $2,340 (£1,892) per patient in wealthier nations. This means remdesivir will not be available for use on patients in the UK and Europe until October, Dr Andrew Hill, a senior visiting research fellow at Liverpool University, told Sky News. He said: "This deal that's been struck by America means that people with COVID-19 in the UK can't get access to these treatments that would get them out of hospital quickly and might improve their chances of survival. "So far, we know that for the next three months there will be no supplies of remdesivir - America will take the drugs and we won't have access to them. That's the case in the UK and Europe." Helxig 45,337
WHY is the US all about money money money money????? It's like they're just bred to believe that wealth is the ultimate goal in life. Crush anyone you have to to become wealthy. The sick, poor, your own friends and family. Doesn't matter who, just step on them to get to the top I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin. It was outdoors with social distancing enforced and I was going to wear a mask 2. Reservations got cancelled last minute, so I couldn't go anyway Plus, my husband is a cross-state delivery driver and has to encounter hundreds of people a day. There's really no way for me to completely self-isolate, because I'll get the virus if he does, and he has to do his job. I didn't figure one meal was going to be the end of me. Sorry for being upset we have terrible healthcare and inadequate leaders. Really no need to make such a snide remark back at me. I wasn't even trying to be rude to you.
