Went on Twitter and literally everyone is dragging him. 

Honestly, people are allowed to dislike him for things he did 10 years ago but I actually think he’s changed. He stopped putting out this type of content a long time ago. 

Either way, he’s an internet personality. All you have to do is not watch his videos if you don’t like him.

Yeah resurfaced from 12 years ago when Shane's comedy was meant to be shocking, offensive, and disgusting. Shane explained and apologized for this many times and changed.

His recent career turn is making docuseries.

Of other YouTubers. 

Internet fame is different than Hollywood fame. Because in some aspects you'll always be niche. He's not a household name, but in his circles, he is well known. 

The main thing about his fame is that he promotes other YouTubers and they promote him back. It's very circular.

It's outrageous, violent, offensive for Taylor Swift but it was nothing but an attempt to dark humour yet again. And that's what he was doing 2006-2015 on youtube.

It's just that his joke veren't always landing...

To not put this in its context and want cancellation over this is lack of intelligence, contextualisation.

Hes been a Youtuber for 13 years ive been watching him since I was a child. His documentary average views is between 30 - 40 million! So hes very famous on Youtube, but not outside of Youtube.
