Thanks for posting, OP! It's a huge deal. Texas is becoming more and more Democratic as time goes on. In a lot of ways, the demographic here can be compared to California. Of course, California is still very much a Blue state, which Texas isn't, but it's trending in that direction. While I don't think Joe Biden is going to win Texas, if he does, then he's practically won the election. I mean, New York and California are already going blue, but if you add in Texas?? Like, none of us thought it would stick but she was winning TX at one point Omg don't bring up this embarrassing dark memory please I remember I was at an election party and the reason we thought this was because she was so ahead but we didn't realize only the large counties were being reported I specifically remember this one girl saying "Omg Texas is FINALLY going blue" Imagine the disappointment when Trump won.... like we really thought he was such a joke that he would lose Texas... They’re literally allowing Trump to dig his own hole while Biden doesn’t do much and it’s paying off. I work for macys. And houston enacted an 8 day mask order (ridiculous because its not getting enforced) and instead of fining people, they’re fining businesses. So, in short, people are trying it. I have talked to so many people who I’m almost 99% sure they believe coronavirus is “fake news” (typically white, straight, conservatives) who try to refuse wearing masks in my department. today at HEB I saw so many people who didn’t have masks (I’m presuming they wore it at the entrance then took it off) While yes this is in Baytown, I’m from Houston and all I can say is a good chunk of this state is republican.
