If I'm remembering correctly: Isn't that why they gave a warning about shipping times when the very very first merch (vinyl,cassettes etc) pre-orders went up? Because they didn't want to be the reason workers/companies were forced to go back to unsafe work conditions? A cautious company would need time to readjust and reconfigure for safety. Which means the new (likely smaller) number of staff and new work environment would have a profound effect on the speed and availability of all products. I'm talking across the entire production line, around the world: from the dye/ink companies to the t-shirt wholesaler, from the vinyl pressers to the screen printers, from the thong seamstress to the keychain makers, from the distribution warehouses to the shipping companies. Basically the same reason supermarkets took forever to get their stock back is the same reason we haven't gotten our merch yet. I got my deluxe CD shipped from Target faster than the website one.
