I can't read the story because it's deleted (or the tweet isn't loading) so I don't even know what happened, but what I'm inferring from comments like this is that there are some hilarious mental gymnastics going on. Both ages are still underage underage. It doesn't matter that *practically* you may be a legal adult by 18, the fact of the matter is is that she isn't a legal adult. Underage is underage, whether you're 8 or 12 or 17. Besides, 17 is still pretty young. You're still very naive, especially when it comes to sex, nevermind being involved with a celebrity. Her story was pretty simple to understand. Unfortunately people are trying to put the blame on her. Typical victim shaming—if this turns out to be true. She was kinda a problematic user, always saying the n-word, saying that she wants to get fcked by Ansel and some other stuff... Ansel is in fact weird and we shouldn’t have “opinions“ if someone got raped or not. Just as an information to take online rape insinuations against celebrities with a a little grain of salt. Not because celebs are hollow and won’t do stuff like that, but more because some people might do it for 15 minutes of fame or simply out of hate. Edit: she even got called out for calling Shawn Mendes a “white n-word”. She’s implying that it wasn’t her twitter account back then but it always had her as a pfp + @ was the same too sooooo Yikes if this is all made up she has potentially ruined his career. God Control 2,181
“I was only 17 and he was 20” yeah, like you were all over him and on the eve of your 18th birthday you discovered that you’ve matured enough to hate him and then added in the N word to give it some more spices.... man these people are pathetic. Maleficent 6
Hi. I've "met" Ansel in a private setting at two different parties in 2018. I put met in quotations, because he was so unbelievably arrogant he referred to by the wrong name repeatedly (even though my friend and I corrected him quite a few times). His attitude was beyond atrocious. He made lame jokes, and he seemed visibly annoyed when a girl told me I was the "very attractive", when he was standing next to me (he even voiced his annoyance in a half-joking manner by saying "how could anyone look attractive standing next to me"). He's the kinda person I hate to be around--vindictive, shallow, egotistical, and not in a charming, movie star/supermodel way. He was quite simply, a very annoying human being. However. Ansel is not a creep. I can assure you he was rude but he wasn't outright malicious or predatory. I don't think he's capable of harassment or assault in any way. I dont think she's lying about having had sex with him, but I do think that there was nothing malicious in his actions. He was just kind of an asshole to her afterwards and hurt her feelings, probably.

Illuminati Freak 2,432
Now the boyfriend of this girls best friend has come out and said she’s lying and nothing malicious ever happened because he had many private conversations about it with her. He’s also willing to go to the Police and lawyers to make a statement. He said she’s doing it for attention and clout. Better think twice cancel culture about ruining someone else’s life before getting all the facts.

If someone accuses someone else of being an abuser, you don't automatically assume their guilt just because someone said so. You may be crucifying someone who didn't actually commit a crime a life is potentially destroyed. You're stinky
Charliie 1,829
Sex is for mature people because both parties have to be responsible. (stds, pregnancy, protection, etc) why would i mess around with a famous adult? why would i DM someone "legally" older than me and go farther? why would I contact a minor and go farther? if you're a virgin you should be better prepared, not just physically but mentally. Sex may be enjoyable, but it takes responsibility and proper education from both parties.

I was accused of doing something abusive to someone many years ago at work and it 100% was NOT true and this young man tried to ruin my life because he was bitter and just an awful person. I had text and private IM messages to back me up that showed how unstable this person was and proved everything they made up was a lie. It was throughly investigated by Human Resources and this person ended up being terminated in the end but my name & reputation got dragged thru the mud in the process for complete and utter lies. So spare all this believe the victim first crap its garbage & piss off with your holy then thou attitude.
