I might be wrong for some but I feel it's a bit pointless to make such statement on Sam Smith... considering we've had a grammy award winner openly gay legend like Elton John for years ??? It's as if they are saying openly LGBTQ people weren't grammy potential or major category potential in the past which I found confusing. Like I have a female to male aquaintence who doesn’t like to be called trans-anything, he actually hates the queer community and actively hates on transgender women a lot.
