But as time goes on, I realize how consistent most of the looks are, how much flexibility it gave her with casual yet on-topic fashion, and how much she galvanized a particular image for the album. Subtle genius, methinks. edit: and based on the overall aesthetic even beyond the fashion, it was an interesting take on creating a persona around the idea of authenticity, as opposed to just authenticity itself, if that makes sense. I wasn’t a stan before Chromatica and wasn’t a pre-stan until Joanne, and I realize I can’t even use my words to talk about what I’m tryna say but I feel like post-Joanne we know Gaga so much more and are better able to separate Gaga and Stefani if that makes sense? what was it like from TF-AP vs Joanne-present?
