BTW and... Joanne, surprisingly.

While it was occurring, I thought the "pink suit and Joanne hat" was such a drab visual aesthetic. But as time goes on, I realize how consistent most of the looks are, how much flexibility it gave her with casual yet on-topic fashion, and how much she galvanized a particular image for the album. Subtle genius, methinks.

edit: and based on the overall aesthetic even beyond the fashion, it was an interesting take on creating a persona around the idea of authenticity, as opposed to just authenticity itself, if that makes sense. Sans MR, it actually really was a really interesting visual exploration for a "stripped back" album phase.

TFM and BTW. Anything dark and primarily in black and white is godly to me.

I wasn’t a stan before Chromatica and wasn’t a pre-stan until Joanne, and I realize I can’t even use my words to talk about what I’m tryna say :ladyhaha: but I feel like post-Joanne we know Gaga so much more and are better able to separate Gaga and Stefani if that makes sense?

what was it like from TF-AP vs Joanne-present?

I was recently checking out the photoshoot for BTW again and it's perfect :tony: So sci-fi, obscure and over-the-top

TFM and Born This Way have amazing aesthetics. It goes to well with the type of dark, electronic dance pop the albums have

I love A-YO cover so much. It’s my most favorite one of her next to BR.
