I think the bridge should have been the outro (works better there or as a transition into a dance mix breakdown) and the modular synths should be the *type* of synth in the final version, but I like the overall richness of the version we got.

Yes. Imagine the demo in HQ.

I really don't understand why they changed the direction of the song so much.

At first, I prefered the demo but now I like the final version better.
the final version have more positive vibes into it, like I can picture Gaga happy when she sings the chorus. But I wish she kept the bridge part on final version.

Come come, unwrapp me!

Where's the poll? :huntyga:

Demo 1000000000000000%

The album version goes nowhere and no 90s house vibes :messga:

Definitely the final version for me. I remember hearing this leak and being upset because I hated it :huntyga:  But the album version has so much more to love! The production on this one because it's a demo makes it feel so flat and hollow, and it kinda goes nowhere. I like the breakdown after the verses on the final version. It gives the song a break instead of being so slow the whole way through. Gives it a chance to build and drop a little.

I don't like the bridge on the demo either tbh. Also it gets very repetitive, I feel like she says "I'm a free woman" 1000 times in the demo. And her vocals are so much more dynamic, interesting and passionate in the final version! The growls make the song for me.

The demo is just bland

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

The final version is more polished, but I don't like the dance break after the first chorus, there's too many of them on the album... plus I think the lyrics she changed should have stayed...

However, I am pretty much okay with what we got, I was never a fan of the "I want to be free-e-e-e" part, so that was a good decision cutting it out

What ruins the album version is that damn generic drop, it's straight out of a 2014 Kygo release or something. Even tho I kinda like the overall vibe of the album version better cuz it's more celebratory, I wish they went with the demo and polished it, it just sounds more badass and fits the "I'm a free woman" thing way better. I grew to like the album version these past 2 weeks but the demo remains superior and it sounds iconic while the album version sounds generic and bland.

I hate the demo  because  it sounds exactly like what it is...unfinished and messy

agreed! the drop sounds like something from Justin Bieber's Purpose. it just screams BloodPop a little too much
