The duo will create outfits for Timberlake's upcoming album. It's not the first time the one-time boy band star has expressed an interest in fashion. He co-founded denim line William Rast in 2006. Fashion fan Justin Timberlake is teaming up with designer Tom Ford. Former Gucci designer Tom Ford has teamed up with Justin Timberlake to design outfits for the actor and singer's new video. In his six-year absence Timberlake has perhaps lost his title as 'most famous Justin in the world', but he undoubtedly remains one of the most stylish. In fact JT has previously more than dipped a toe in the fashion world with his William Rast label, launched in 2006 with his friend Trace Ayala. Tom Ford has worked on a series of clothes and accessories designed specifically for the new Timberlake album which are expected to appear in videos and visuals when the record drops in the spring. "I adore Justin. He has innate style and enormous talent. It has been such a pleasure and honor to work with him throughout this entire creative process," said Ford. The cover shot for Timberlake's first single from the new record, "Suit & Tie" (featuring an equally style-savvy Jay-Z) , features a Tom Ford tuxedo with satin peak lapels, a white shirt and an oversized satin bow tie. In the "Suit & Tie" video Justin also dons a black suit, tuxedo, two pairs of loafers, a tie bar, pocket square and luxurious black onyx and white gold cufflinks all by Tom Ford. You know, release a single here, perform at a private charity Super Bowl party there. But no - the almost 32-year-old, who celebrates his birthday Thursday, isn't staying small-time with his comeback. He's taking his return tour to the Grammys. The Recording Academy announced today that Timberlake is joining the list of performers at the 55th ceremony. It'll be the TV debut for the six-time Grammy winner's anticipated homecoming to music; he last performed at the Grammys four years ago. Timberlake joins a list of performers that includes Fun.; The Black Keys; Rihanna; Dierks Bentley and Miranda Lambert; The Lumineers; Taylor Swift; Carrie Underwood; Jack White; and Elton John and Ed Sheeran. The Recording Academy hasn't mentioned it, but we're also wondering if Frank Ocean, one of the lead nominees at the this year's event, will also sneak in a performance. When he tweeted on Sunday that he was "jumped" by Chris Brown and "a couple guys," the "Channel Orange" artist also stirred hope in the hearts of fans when he followed up with, "cut my finger now I can't play w two hands at the grammys." We'll find out just what Ocean might have in store when the Grammys airs February 10 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS. Tbh. You meant the X-Factor? I forgot how happy she was in that show...
