Wait since when Zara is expensive...? It’s one of the cheapest out there.

I'm my country (Brazil) it's expensive, especially for fast fashion. I've seen coats there cost the same as minimum wage.

In Paris Ive seen coats costin 120 euros, shoes 89 euros, what's funny is that I'm not sure it's worth that much if you look at the fabric

In my country Zara is actually expensive and the quality is terrible. Not to mention the Bolivian slaves that make their clothes. So no, I'm not wearing any Zara clothes :vegas:

Let's be honest. There arent manyfast fashion brands who dont do the same things.

You guys know that this means significantly less exposure of "Rain on Me" on the GP, right?

Sucks for employees losing their jobs, but glad to see corporations like these fall. Expensive clothes are one of the stupidest points of capitalism.

The problem is if corporations big as Zara or Starbucks do such things, that means that small businesses reality right now is hell.

UNIQLO's quality is better but the fashion is pretty bad and basic in my opinion

Well, that's what UNIQLO does, they publicize it as basic and there's is nothing wrong, basic clothes are needed. And i don't think they are bad.

Expensive clothes

Wait, Zara is expensive clothing brand?? That is new to me. Their prices range are not more expensive than ASOS or other quick fashion shops. About $35--$200 tops. $200 being their blazers which is very cheap.

Zara is not even expensive.. It’s right there with H&M in my country.. It’s not like it’s GUCCI or Prada.

IDK I’ll keep ordering online.. I like their fashion and I think they have some of the best affordable work pieces. They are classy and sophisticated but not expensive at all. I’m sad to see this.

It does not neccesarilly means Zara stores. The company is the Inditex Group, which owns several other brands, not just Zara. Actually, from what I heard, the Zara brand will be the least affected one, the other brands (mostly known in Europe I guess) like Bershka or Pull & Bear the ones that are in danger.

I do work part-time next to uni in an Inditex store so these are kinda scary news for me because if the biggest retailer has to do this then the other ones must be in real ‘danger’ too.

edit: Here Zara is considered kinda upscale, ofc not on the level of Gucci but still expensive and unreachable for the majority of the people

Yea they are very cheap.. I don’t know what that person is talking about :huntyga: I mean it’s heaven for middle class and it does give that “expensive” look and feel but it’s actually really affordable.

Honestly some brands are more expensive in some areas than others I guess depending how much they take off I dunno

I noticed Tommy Hilfiger is a more expensive brand in Portugal for example than it is here in Canada
