She has a strong European identity because Italy shaped strongly the European nations. I mean, i understand why she as a American New York girl likes her Italian roots. New York is cool and edgy. But Italy is such a romantic place and the Italian nation is impulsive and passionate and it just has a kind of warm atmosphere.
