Toxic behavior & victim mentality gives us what? The police. They are criminals, they are animals, if they don’t want to be treated as such then act like a f*cking human. Make meaningful reform, stop murdering people & abusing the power our country gave you. Honestly done with police, get rid of them all. Wipe the damn slate clean & build from there with community oversight & 8 Can’t Wait.

NYPD SHOULD BE THE LAST TO SAY ANYTHING! 

I live in NY and protested. I almost been ran over 4 times by police officers. I been tear gassed and got into physical altercations for no reason behind them. They should be the ones to change their behavior.

The post that you quoted isn't even implying to dismantle the police force, it's simply talking about its corruption. You're literally guilty of doing the thing that you're accusing of other people

I should have known that nuance would be lost on you and spelled out in simple terms the reason I used that quote. It referred to ALL police as having certain attributes which is objectively false. If that were true then the implication would be that we’d be better off without them. Not difficult. But tbh I didn’t come here for a back and forth so I’ll leave it at that.

The fact of the matter is that your first post in this thread was a straw man argument. People are talking about getting rid of the corrupt institution in order to make way for a new one that is more effective in policing everyone equally. No one is seriously talking about getting rid of police and having nothing to replace it with.

Yes you should leave it at that. But I'm sure you'll be at the next thread where police are being discussed, spending all of your energy on "NoT AlL cOpS aRe BaD" and not acknowledging the obvious problems that people are having with the police.
