Trump: "Good day" for George Floyd because of jobs numbers

Regardless of political, social, economic views - this man is just a moron and nothing else matters.

Mentioning a tragically deceased person in such a tone is the most inappropriate thing I've ever seen.

But he did "hopefully, George is looking down right now and saying this is a great thing happening for our country. It's great day for him, a great day for everybody. This is great day for everybody, this is great, great day in terms of equality" < In his speech about the economy you can't even make this up.

Yeah but to me it felt like he was relating that to the protests, not the economy.

How can one person be so tone deaf? He literally tear gassed protestors days ago for a photo op and the country is anything but ok. And he has the audacity to say that George is looking down and thinking it’s a good day or whatever? No. He’s probably looking down and thinking “d*mn I wish I wasn’t murdered”.

Been a cuff touple, a puff bupple, a tough couple of years.

Trump is bad. But the news is literally fake. Both statements can coexist. Watch the video... it’s frustrating because articles like this literally play into his “FAKE NEWS” mantra because they straight up take something out of context and lie

Totally agree. There is enough true idiotic things that he does to write about; making things up only makes the other side stronger, as they will clearly be able to point out that this is in fact fabricated and twisted, and boom, they can say the witch hunt against him continues.

Not defending him but this article is false. He was talking about equality and police treatment and said George would be looking down and being happy regarding the change.

He didn't say that in regards to the economy or unemployment. The literal video is posted in the same article. :spin:

We all want Trump out of office but let's not completely make stuff up in order to do it. Use the dumb sht he ACTUALLY says instead.

This is how fake news gets spread. Trump is disgusting and I hope he rots in hell and I stand by the BLM movement 100%, but he did not say that. Watch the video.

He’s still trash, but if we, the left, allow ourselves to twist the truth for headlines and start believing things without actually looking into them, then we lose all credibility. This is how the right has become so idiotic and gullible. His speech may have been about the economy, but when referencing George Floyd, he was talking about the public response to law enforcement’s treatment of citizens. Not about jobs.

It’s actually quite worrying seeing GGD members automatically believe this without looking into it. We have to do better.

Even from Trump I didn't expect something this insensitive and Trump already has the bar set as low as it can go :rip:

Im starting to wonder if hes doing this stuff on purpose now just to be remembered. Like being remembered as the stupidest most insensitive President ever is still being Remembered. I genuinely wonder :deadbanana:
