Well, I think he meant that the album as a whole is following SL pattern: a very good start, but a very early and hard drop.

he only posts negative updates and basically got a hard on during the whole SL era due to his constant “-5000% for SL” every 2 seconds. And then during ROM week he peeps up “ROM gonna lose its lead in approximately 48 hours”

 

ROM is literally still #1 on ITunes  in the UK over a week later  and I never see any posts like “+5% in sales for ROM” . For some reason dude LOVES to be negative. Must be real fun at parties.

 

OT - The albums streams are doing just fine holy ish. The woman hasn’t even promoted her album since midnight on Friday can we all chill. This is why I avoid GGD during album releases. It takes all the fun out of music. I’m gonna go back to enjoying Chromatica and being positive  have fun y’all

Thanks, this data is helpful. But Spotify streams are only one component. Her pure sales will be significantly higher than Dua Lipa, for example. And Gaga is simply not as popular as Billie or Taylor.

 

Also, Gaga couldn’t promote her album on social media without being eviscerated. It’s just the reality of the situation.  Unfortunate for her but I’m sure she’d agree there are more important things.

If Gaga continues to completely ignore the album... I can't believe that in two days it will be exactly a week since the album was released and we have complete silence. This is the first time in all of Gaga's eras, and I remember all of Her eras. What scares me most is that this era may soon be over, I hope it isn't and they have everything planned for the long term. Gaga released an amazing album that deserves only the best.

There was more in store than just a few tweets and insta videos. She had promo spots. And of course now many people are more inclined to keep themselves updated about the protests rather than listening to new music. It was always meant to fall, but not that hard. That’s exactly the point everyone’s trying to make.
